Environmental photography in Dublin

An image in search of a title - suggestions anyone?

Photographed in harsh winter light earlier this year, on Dublin's South Wall, just before the Poolbeg chimneys were decommissioned. At least we don't have to breath in this gunk (technical term!) anymore. But for how long? Is the €350 million incinerator being proposed for the site next door to Poolbeg really such a good idea?

Portrait photography in Dublin

Ann Maybin founded the Churchtown School of Music only 5 years ago and has recently relocated to new premises in Dundrum to cater for the growing numbers of students.

Ann is also responsible for the hugely successful Mini Music learning programme for children, now running in the National Concert Hall. Not only was she was a joy to photograph but music and conversation flowed through a number of afternoon setups. Hearing her play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata as I photographed her was a real bonus.

You can find out more CSM here.
